The ‘Tree of Life’ is a mystical tree that is well-known throughout many ancient cultures, stretching all the way back into the distant past to the oldest civilizations in the world. It is also known under the different names according to the different cultures of the world: ‘Tree of Knowledge’, ‘Tree of Immortality’, the ‘World Tree’, ‘Akshaya Vata’, etc. But whatever name it has, it is widely thought to represent the Divine Creator, the ‘Self’, the ‘Interconnectedness’ of all beings.
A bookmark with an old fashion pocket watch, while our modern world turns on digitals and cell phones. But when one stops to read a book, and stop ‘time’, and let one’s mind slow down to the rhythm of pure pleasure, isn’t it a way to get lost in a dream of words, a way to make peace with oneself? It is then that time slows down to the tic toc of the pocket watch.
HOW IT WAS MADE
A timeless bookmark silver finish leaf with its small old fashion pocket watch. The watch (4cm/1 ½ in.) is a working analog watch in silver finish. The front cover shows a modern image of the ‘Tree of Life’. The cartouche has a silver brushed finish. The inside of the watch shows old fashion hour, minute and second hands.

‘L’arbre de vie’ est un arbre mystique faisant partie de tous les pays du monde s’étendant jusqu’aux plus vieilles civilisations qui ont marché sur notre planète. Il porte également plusieurs noms différents selon les cultures qui le fréquentent : ‘L’arbre du savoir’ ‘ L’arbre de l’immortalité’, ‘L’arbre du monde’, ‘Akshaya Vata’, etc. Mais peu importe le nom qu’il porte, tous s’entendent pour dire qu’il représente le ‘Créateur divin’, le ‘Soi’ ou ‘interconnectivité’ des êtres.
Un signet avec une montre de poche alors que notre monde roule au digital et aux cellulaires. Mais lorsqu’on s’arrête pour lire un livre et qu’on ‘arrête le temps’ et qu’on se laisse lentement porter au rythme du pur plaisir, n’est-ce pas là une façon de se perdre dans des rêves composés de mots, une façon de faire la paix avec soi ? C’est alors que le temps ralentit au tic toc de la montre de poche.

Un signet en forme de feuille intemporelle en fini argent antique tenant le temps avec sa montre de poche. Une montre analogue fonctionnelle de 4cm/1 ½ po est également en fini argent antique . Le couvert est orné d’un arbre de vie moderne. La cartouche possède un fini argent martelé. Les aiguilles de style antique, notent l’heure, les minutes et les secondes.
